Cthonic Remains is a strong hunting area once you reach the middle insights and can remain useful well into higher levels.
Insight 60–80
I recommend waiting until around Insight 60 before beginning to hunt Cthonic Remains.
From Insight 60 through 80, hunting around CR10 is effective. Your main targets will be Mummies, which provide good experience for this level range.
Recommended Party
An ideal group includes:
Use Dark Necklaces and Dark Belts while hunting here.
Have your casters use Fas on both the monsters and your party members to improve damage and survivability.
Insight 80+
Starting around Insight 80, move deeper into CR26–30 for better hunting.
The recommended party setup remains similar:
Stronger characters may also be able to hunt these floors solo, depending on their class, stats, and equipment.
For general experience hunting, CR26–30 is usually the area you will want to remain in once you are strong enough to handle it comfortably.
